Senior Director, Advisor Experience (LA, New Orleans)

Summary:

In this role, the Senior Director reports to the Chief Experience Officer and oversees the advisor experience for all independently affiliated advisors (1099 teams). The Senior Director, Advisor Experience has a wide range of strategic responsibilities, including:

Advisor Advocacy
Advisor Engagement
Advisor Satisfaction
Community Building
Program Management
Strategic Partnerships & Projects

 

Location: The position will ideally be in New Orleans, LA. Remote candidates may also be considered.

 

Responsibilities:

Advisor Advocacy

Leading and managing the Advisor Advocate team of relationship managers
Assisting the Advisor Advocate team with relationship and advisor business support
Overseeing annual relationship calls and/or in-person meetings with the top segment of affiliated advisors

Advisor Engagement

Overseeing the development of practice management resources and solutions (i.e., business intelligence reports, case studies, white papers, help center articles)
Developing an advisor engagement program, in conjunction with key stakeholders around the firm, to drive greater adoption of firm-wide value-add services, solutions, and programs
Designing an advisor recognition program
Representing the Advisor Experience team with prospects and vendors

Advisor Satisfaction

Managing advisor input and feedback through surveys, focus groups, and 1:1 meetings
Driving strong Net Promoter and Advisor Satisfaction Survey results
Identifying trends and opportunities to enhance the advisor experience

Community Building

Facilitating community-building events, webinars, and monthly newsletters
Developing and guiding peer-to-peer collaboration and idea-sharing initiatives

Program Management

Overseeing and launching select value-add programs that support or mission

Strategic Partnerships & Special Projects

Building and strengthening relationships with key external partners/sponsors
Contributing leader for strategic firm initiatives and projects along with other stakeholders

 

 

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
3+ years working in the RIA, Hybrid-RIA, or wealth management industry
Familiarity with a hybrid-RIA setup that is multi-custodian
Familiarity with a tuck-in or aggregator RIA model
Experience managing a sales or relationship management team
Experience with sales enablement and program development
Exemplary customer service skills with a solution-based approach
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Great communicator, excellent writing skill
Team player who can work well with multiple divisions across the firm
