John’s role includes providing national support to the business development team and serving as Manager, Advisor Advocate. As a dedicated Advisor Advocate, John partners with affiliated advisor firms in the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast territory to provide strategic business and practice management support. In his role, John is a trusted resource responsible for advisor satisfaction, engagement, and community for all partner firms in his territory.
With over 35 years of experience, John has held prior positions at T. Rowe Price, Legg Mason Wood Walker, and Federated Investors. He also has experience in national manufacturing and distribution, serving as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 2014, John rejoined financial services as a Senior Sales Executive for Mid Atlantic Capital Group before transitioning to NewEdge Advisors.
John graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. John and his wife Paula reside in Pittsburgh, PA, and have three adult children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, mountain biking, playing euchre, and listening to live music.
